Round 5 match summary
Figtree Kangaroos 10. 10. 70 defeated Helensburgh Tigers 10. 9. 69
A thrilling encounter saw the Roos come from behind to secure a crucial 1 point victory. Down by 12 points at halftime, captain Jake Morrison sparked the comeback with a brilliant individual goal in the late in the 3rd quarter. Young gun winger Tommy Chen sealed the win with a spectacular off-the-ground finish in the dying minutes. The defensive effort from Mike Stevens and Danny Walsh was outstanding, making crucial tackles when it mattered most.

ABOUT THE CLUB
The Swan View Cricket Club was established in 1975 and has been successful winning 9 First Grade Premierships as well as developing over 50 WACA First Grade Players.
The club currently caters for junior boys and girls aged 6 to 17 years of age, starting with our fun and exciting Master Blaster program, through to our Women's team and our 5 mens teams where we have two day and one day cricket for all levels, from competitive to more social grades and this is complemented by our Tuesday Twenty20 compeition.
The club also has a vibrant social atmosphere hosting numerous well attended events during the season, as well as Friday night Sundowner BBQ's during our junior night matches, Thursday night Players and Past Player Dinners and Sunday Sessions during the Women's Games.
